Today,  Northern Cape Government hosted a highly successful youth day event, with thousands of young people at the AR Abass Stadium. 

 OVER R1 MILLION RAND HANDED OVER TO YOUNG PEOPLE IN BUSINESS AND IN THE ARTS

R100 000 each, to all  artists who performed at the Youth Day Event

R20 000 to 40 SMME’s across the Province

Premier Dr. Zamani Saul  also introduced over 200 young people who are part of the MerSeta and Provincial Government Partnership as well as 30 media attaché’s joining the Northern Cape Provincial Government through the Office of the Premier. 

Through the Ministry of Youth, Women, People living with Disabilities, Communication and e-Government, Government will ensure that young people are empowered in order to grow the economy of this Province.

Freedom Day Commemorative Event. 

The Acting Premier, MEC Bentley Vass will today deliver the keynote address at the Freedom Day event taking place at the Oliphantshoek Stadium. 

 Community members are  encouraged to make use of the Government services that are available at the Event.
