Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Mr. Buti Manamela, spent the day inspecting the Northern Cape. 

Meeting with the student leaderships of Sol Plaatje University and Northern Cape TVET College, to tackle long standing challenges in student funding institutional readiness and economic alignment.

Deputy Minister, Mr. Buti Manamela also visited the Northern Cape Premier, Dr. Zamani Saul, to discuss long-term solutions. The key highlights were on aligning skills training with major provincial economic projects.

This engagement is intended to be a pivotal means of improving access to funding and job readiness for the Northern Cape students.
