The Premier of the Northern Cape, Dr Zamani Saul, on behalf of the entire Provincial Administration, herewith wishes the class of 2019 well as they embark on the final stretch of completing their schooling career.

Dr Saul encourages all matriculants to set aside all extra curricular activities and focus on their preparations for the examinations.

Matriculants sitting for their final examinations are a valued partner and the focal point in our quest to build a Modern, Growing and Successful Province. They are the leaders of tomorrow and should equip themselves to take our hands as we put the Northern Cape on the world map.

The Provincial Administration will make available bursaries to deserving students and those who excel in their academic quests.

The Province requires skills to fight the challenges of unemployment, poverty and inequality.

In reflecting on the matric pass mark, the Premier stated that, "I also want to encourage the matriculants to work hard at securing that the Northern Cape counts amongst the best performing provinces when the results are released"

Dr Saul also wishes to express a word of gratitude to the parents, educators and school governing bodies for their support and encouragement throughout the school career of our learners.
