As per the commitment in the inaugural address to have off site offices at Department of Health
and Department of Education, the Premier, Dr Zamani Saul, today visited the Robert Mangaliso
Sobukwe Hospital in Kimberley to assess the services. During his walk about the Premier
engaged with the patients to gain firsthand experience of their challenges.

The Premier also engaged management to do a thorough assessment of challenges that
hamper efficient service delivery and come up with workable solutions that would enhance the
experience of patients especially at the casualty area.

The Premier has vowed to return to the Robert
Mangaliso Sobukwe Hospital to assess
progress made as part of the turnaround strategy
