The Premier of the Northern Cape, Dr Zamani Saul, welcomes the apology by the Sunday Times in their newspaper of today. It just reaffirms the statement by the Premier of his innocence and no interference in procurement processes. Coupled with that it shows that it was a malicious attack orchestrated by people with a devious agenda.

Premier Saul however remains resolute and has withstood this callous attack on his character and integrity and remains resolute and will continue doubling his efforts towards clean governance. It is encouraging that the newspaper acknowledged making a mistake and owned up to their mistake by issuing an apology.
