On Thursday, 01 March 2018 from 09h00 - 11h00 GEMS officials will be available to assist with all your GEMS questions, member queries, complaints and providing assistance in resolving the aforementioned.

The following services will be on offer as well as an update on any 2018 benefit changes that may affect you and your beneficiaries:

EXISTING GEMS MEMBERS:    

• Claims queries;
• Tax certificates;
• Adding and removal of dependants;
• Needs analysis and appropriate option selection;
• Benefit explanations, i.e. Chronic, Maternity, etc.;
• Explanation on how to access benefits;
• Explaining how 2018 benefit changes affect members; and
• Assisting members who want to change to EVO ( EVO Option Change deadline - end March 2018).

NEW GEMS MEMBERS:

•  All employees who do not belong to a medical aid, including level 1 to 5 employees to provide them with medical aid information and assist them to join GEMS;
• Needs analysis - focusing on their medical needs versus affordability;
• Advice on most appropriate option selection;
• Assisting new members to complete membership applications;
• Submit applications and follow-up to the point of membership active; and
• GEMS presentations - Explaining all 6 GEMS options / plans.
