The Office of the Premier has a 45minute devotional gathering every Monday morning which takes place in the ground floor boardroom from 08:00am till 08:45am. The service is led by staff members who volunteer or are chosen on a rotational basis every week to bring the message of God which resonates with them. On 18 March 2019, the service was led by Ms Bangi Mosala from The Office on the Status of Persons With disabilities (OSPD) unit, who chose 1 King 17: 7-24, 2 Kings 4: 11-17 and Roman 4: 16-21 as her main motivation for the week under the topic “Zero to Hero.” She said: “God is about to change your mourning and weeping into Laughter and joy, your despair to hope, your darkness into light Psalm 30: 5, 11. He will turn your ashes (zero) to beauty (Hero) Isaiah 61: 1-3. What is it that you have that looks like it’s nothing (its zero), it has no value, its worthless... give it over to God with thanksgiving and see it multiplied to Hero status (John 6: 5-13, Luke 9: 12-17). “ All colleagues are hereby invited and thus encouraged to attend the service and join the group of employees in their praise and worship at the start of each week. |
