Premier's Education Trust Fund Annual General Meeting
The Premier of the Northern Cape, Dr ZamaniSaul together with Members of the Executive Council attended the Annual General Meeting of the Northern Cape Premier’s Bursary Fund held in Kimberley on 11thFebruary 2020.
In addressing those present, Premier Dr Saul said: “The socio-economic landscape of the Northern Cape has completely changed and poses new challenges. The Office of the Premier is therefore leading a process to realign the trust fund to respond to these new challenges. We are confident that a centralised approach will enable us to have a clinical approach with regard to developing the skills base in the Province and to strengthen coordination.”
He continued by adding: “At the heart of a Modern, Growing and Successful Province is education. We won’t be able to modernise the Province if we do not place emphasis on the education of our children.”



The President, Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, together with the Premier, Dr. Zamani Saul, various Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and Members of the Executive Council addressed the 5th installment of the District Development Model (DDM)Presidential Imbizo held in Upington, in the ZFM District Municipality.
The Provincial Command Council chaired by the Premier, Dr Zamani Saul, held its weekly meeting yesterday, 06 May 2020 to assess Provincial Governments response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The Premier,Dr Zamani Saul, accompanied by the MEC responsible for Health, Ms Mase Manopole in the Northern Cape, officially opened a newly renovated Maternity Ward at Galeshewe Day Hospital in Kimberley. The renovations presented Provincial Government with an opportunity to be more innovative and creative in finding ways to achieve our strategic goals, raising life expectancy, reducing the burden of disease and most importantly, ensuring the reduction in maternal and infant mortality.
