Responsible to monitor and evaluate government performance against National and Provincial Priorities. Monitoring and Evaluation is at the centre of providing strategic leadership to government’s twelve outcomes through ensuring guidance to implementation forums and feedback from the Provincial M&E Forum. It leads important government intervention programmes like MPAT, FLSD and further provides monitoring on the implementation of EPWP.

To provide an integrated performance monitoring and evaluation function directed at improving implementation of provincial plans and programmes

• Design and maintain data architectural integration of systems to ensure data integration across the province.

• Manage data collection processes and protocols for provincial and national reporting.

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of captured information.

• Develop provincial customized performance information reports, dashboards and planning tools.

• Conduct data analysis, interpretation and ensure integration of performance data.
