POST: Personal Assistant
SALARY: R140 208.00 per annum

REQUIREMENTS: Applicants should be in possession of a Secretarial Diploma or equivalent qualification, as well as 3-5 years experience in rendering a support service to senior management.
Knowledge and Experience: The following key competencies will serve as a strong recommendation:
- Knowledge on the relevant legislation/policies/prescripts and procedures;
- Knowledge of running and maintaining a records management system;
- Knowledge of wordprocessing, spreadsheet and presentation packages and other relevant software utilized in the department;
- Have good written and verbal communication skills, good telephone etiquette and computer literacy with sound organisational skills will be an added advantage;
- High level of reliability and the ability to act with tact and discretion.
DUTIES: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Provide a secretarial/receptionist support service to the Director General;
- Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing system for record purposes;
- Makes arrangements for scheduled meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for committees, managers and professionals;
- Remains up to date with regard to the prescripts/policies and procedures applicable to his/her work terrain to ensure efficient and effective support to the Director General;
- Ensure the safekeeping of all documentation in the office of the Director General in line with relevant legislation and policies.
