The Premier of the Northern Cape, Mrs Sylvia Lucas, will be observing the re-opening of schools in Groblershoop on the 21st January 2015 as part of the Provincial Government's re-opening of schools programme.

The intention is to make sure that schools open timeously, that they function optimally and that teaching and learning takes place on the very first day of school. Mrs Lucas will be visiting the following schools:

• Groblershoop High School - 7h30
• Sternham Primary School - 9h00
• Groblershoop Primary School - 10h30

Members of the media are welcome to form part of these school visits aimed at ensuring that our learners receive quality education from the first day of the academic year.
