Running BAS update script

1. When to run the BAS update script?
   1. Following the transversal systems VPN update that was presented at PGITOC meeting held on 20 July 2018, it was requested that a note be written to give guidance on when to run the BAS script – Ktfndupdate.exe.
   2.  As indicated in the meeting, with the exception of the departments in the Table 2 below, all other provincial departments can immediately run the script on their BAS computers so that they are ready and compliant with the VPN switch over.
   3. The departments in Table 2 below, should ONLY run the script after the VPN switch-over. Preferably on the morning after the VPN switch-over. The exact date of the switch-over will be determined at the VPN Steering Committee meeting and subsequently communicated to all provincial departments.
   4. To run the script, download the compressed file below, this file must be extracted and thereafter executed by double clicking the extracted Ktfndupdate.exe file., 
   5. The Ktfnd1.ini files must be checked against the information in Table 1, to confirm the correct/relevant changes have been effected/made.
